Captain Jake Flood is a fly fishing and light tackle specialist with over 9 years of professional guiding experience. He has built his career on the water guiding anglers across some of the most renowned fisheries in the United States, including Idaho, Wyoming, and Arkansas, where he ran his own successful guide service during the colder Western off-season. An Orvis Endorsed Guide, Jake brings world-class expertise, technical knowledge, and a lifetime of passion to every trip.

Fishing has always been part of Jake’s story. He picked up a fly rod at just 6 years old and was tying his own flies by 12. His grandfather, a lifelong fisherman in Southwest Florida, introduced him to the area’s waters during his childhood — sparking the connection that eventually brought him back to guide here full-time. His uncle also owned and operated a fly shop and guide service along the Delaware River, where Jake spent countless hours surrounded by the culture, community, and depths of fly fishing. Those roots shaped him into the dedicated guide he is today.
